Frank J. Barbee

Frank J. Barbee was born March 26, 1945, to Gayle Maxweldon Barbee and Juanita Robertson Barbee in Gorman, Tx. He married the love of his life Rita Hughes in 1965 after a long courtship of 3 months. They had 60 and a half good years together. They had 2 sons, John (Sarah) Barbee of Dublin, TX and Walter (Connie) Barbee of Moss Point, MS. He also leaves behind grandkids Jacob (Angela) Hansen of St. Anthony, ID, Joe (Jordyn) Hansen of Ronan, MT, Jennifer (David) Cory of St. Anthony, ID along with 9 great grandkids. There were several others that thought of him as dad too. Frank will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

They lived on the same place since 1966. He was a peanut farmer for many years then went to milking cows in 1986 until his retirement. He was a deacon of Edna Hill Baptist Church and was active there for many years. He loved the LORD, and he loved his family and was always willing to help others. He will be greatly missed by many. But for those that believe on the LORD JESUS CHRIST as their personal LORD and SAVIOR this isn't goodbye, it is but a short separation.

Visitation will be held at Harrell Funeral Home on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 1:00pm, followed by services at 2:00pm. Interment will take place at the Barbee Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Barbee Cemetery.
