Frank "Bucky" Bates, 58, of Paragould, Arkansas passed away on November 25, 2025 at his home. He was born on July 12, 1967 in Goshen, New York to Franklin Alfred Bates, Sr. and Mary Ann Sanders. Bucky was a lifelong member of the Rivervale Baptist Church in Rivervale, Arkansas. He was in the last graduating class of Caraway High School "Caraway Tigers" in 1985. Bucky enjoyed collecting anything Star Wars, Marvel, and GI Joe figures. He was a jokester; he loved reading comic books and playing video games. He worked for the City Cab of Paragould and loved meeting new people every day. Survivors include; father: Franklin Alfred Bates, Sr. of New York; one sister: Suzanne Wallace (Phil) of Cherokee Village, Arkansas; three brothers: David Bates of Manila, Arkansas, Mike Sanders (Felisha) of Manila, Arkansas, Ernie Bates (Nancy) of New York; twelve nieces and nephews: Miranda Forehand, Adam Carpenter, Mekenzie Wallace, Ryan Wallace, Clint Wallace, Wes Wallace, Ashley Elinburg, Cy Whaley, Lilli Watson, Lana Spray, Tristan Sanders, Zoey Bates; several great nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by; his mother: Mary Ann Sanders; stepfather: Malcom Sanders; and his maternal grandparents: Arthus and Alice Grass. A memorial service will be held at a later date and published when known. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to help with Bucky's Service please reach out to Faith Funeral Service for details on donations.
