She was born on January 2, 1948, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, the daughter of Clyde and Wanda (Rollins) Schornick. Nancy enjoyed reading, completing crossword puzzles, and the time she spent with her family. She is survived by her loving Sons, Donnie and Ronnie Bates, both of Fayetteville GA; 10 Grandchildren, Justin Lenz, Samantha Gilliard, Solomon Bates, Eljah Bates, Levi Bates, Lily Bates, Benjamin Bates, Zakary Bates, Dylan Elliott, Spencer Elliott; and 4 great-grandchildren; Cody Lenz, Emma Lenz, Bethany Gilliard, Geovanni Elliott. She was preceded by her loving Husband Carl Bates, Jr, and one Brother Michael Schornick.
