In loving memory of Frank (Poppy) Bernthold born February 14th 1945 to the late Harold and Grace Bernthold passed away February 15th 2023 at age 78. Frank was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Army National Guard. Frank is preceded in death by the love of his life Shirley Bernthold; son Jason Bernthold; sisters, Betty Tatman, Evelyn Dennis and Bertie Painter; brothers, Roger and James Bernthold; In-laws Margie and Basil Friesland; brother-in-law Randy Friesland; nephews, Joe Friesland and John Dennis. He is survived by children Debbie (David) Fambrough and Steve (Katrina) Poole; grandchildren Brandon (Michelle) Fambrough, Nikki (Jeremy) Rabell, Zacharry (Adrianna) Poole and Skylar (Dustin) Roe; great-grandchildren Nolan, Ally, Deacon, Nova, Hudson and Lucas; brother-in-law Clyde (Dottie) Friesland, sister-in-law Lisa Friesland and many nieces and nephews. We will always remember the good times and carry your memory in our hearts.
Family will receive friends Thursday February 23, 2023 from 4-7 pm at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High Street, Columbus, OH 43207 where service will be held Friday February 24, 2023 with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating. Interment to follow at Obetz Cemetery.
