Clara Jo Bernthold, 54, Passed away on January 22, 2025 in her home. She was the wife of Shane Bernthold. They shared 10 years of marriage together. Clara was born in Columbus, Ohio. She was the daughter of Billy Jean Edmisten. Clara was employed at The Heinzerling Foundation and worked as the Director of Housekeeping for 20 years.
Clara enjoyed spending time with her family, dogs and friends. She loved to craft, decorate and shop. She will be remembered for her warm, loving heart. She was someone you could always call on when in need. Clara was compassionate, and caring to everyone she came in contact with. You could always count on laughing and having a good time when Clara was around. She is survived by her Husband Shane Bernthold, Children David Wolford (Devin), Adam Wolford (Ashley), Amanda Wolford, Kyle Bernthold (Kelsey), Samantha Good (Nathan), Kamryn Bernthold. Many many Grandchildren who were truly loved;; sister, Sherry (Herb); brothers, Owen, Richard, Billy and Russell. She was preceded in death by her Mother Billy Jean Edmisten and her Brother Ronald Edmisten.
The visitation will be held on Wednesday January 29th from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. South Chapel, 1346 S. High St. in Columbus, where funeral service will be held on Thursday January 30th at 11:00 a.m.
