Frank Bertoli Obituary
March 4, 1930 - June 4, 2025
It is with profound love and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frank Eugene Bertoli. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He passed peacefully at his home leaving his wife Barbara of 48 years, daughter Julie Payne (Robert), and son Robert Marquez. He is preceded in death by sons Jeffrey and Rodney Bertoli.
Out of high school, Frank started working at Kushions Shoe Factory in Santa Rosa right before getting drafted into the Army. In 1951, during the Korean War, he received two bronze star medals among his awards for serving his country. After his time in the Army, he worked as a postal clerk for 40 years, then worked as a courier for Bank of the Redwoods for the following 10 years.
Frank played shortstop for the Santa Rosa Rosebuds team for many years. He was always eager and willing to participate in any family functions, visiting and enjoying time with all of us. He had a great love for his pets that was unparalleled. He will truly be missed but never forgotten.
A service for Frank will take place on Thursday, June 12 at 11:30 a.m. at Daniels Chapel of the Roses (1225 Sonoma Ave, Santa Rosa).

Frank was a great neighbor and a great friend, he always had a smile and shared funny stories.
I can still remember going to the post office and seeing/hearing him and his co workers singing away , we later got to know him when we lived down the street on ashbury. I would always stop and talk with him every time I'd see him walking "Mandy"
Frank also had a wonderful relationship with my son Ryan and was also friends with my father Red. We are all proud to have known Frank and will miss him immensely around the neighborhood
