Frank Joseph Bitondo

Frank Joseph Bitondo passed away of natural causes on February 2, 2026. He was born on May 14, 1955, in Los Gatos, California, to Dominic and Chispa Bitondo, who preceded him in death.

Frank was funny, stubborn in the most unforgettable way, and the kind of person you couldn't help but like if you truly knew him. Even if he was taking your money at poker.

Frank loved his sons, Joe and Dan, and he loved showing up for them. He followed all of their sports growing up and was a constant, enthusiastic presence in the stands-you could always hear him no matter where he was. And when his sons' playing days were over and they had grown older, Frank found a new kind of joy in doing it all again for the next generation. He loved being there and proudly following Elliot and Rocco's sporting events.

Family was the center of Frank's world. He loved holidays together, time spent with the people he cared about most, and watching games as a devoted fan of the San Francisco 49ers and San Francisco Giants.

Frank cared deeply about his community. He enjoyed supporting high school sports, giving back, and volunteering his time in the local Galt community.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Dominic and Chispa Bitondo, and his beloved wife, Tina.

He is survived by his sons, Joseph Bitondo (wife Jennifer) and Daniel Bitondo (wife Brittany); his granddaughter , Elliot; and grandsons Rocco, and Archer; his sister, Dee (husband Ken); and his cherished nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 6, 2026, at St. Joachim's Catholic Church, 13392 E. Lockeford Ranch Dr., Lockeford, CA 95237.

Rosary will begin at 9:30. Funeral at 10:00. Burial at the cemetery and a reception will follow at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Galt High Athletic Boosters or the Galt Lions Club.
