Frank "Bubba" Murphy

Frank "Bubba" Murphy, a cherished husband, devoted father, and beloved member of the community, passed away peacefully at his residence on February 8, 2026, just days after celebrating his 66th birthday. Born on February 5, 1960, Frank lived a life full of warmth and purpose, touching the hearts of many with his kindness and spirit.

A dedicated professional, Frank spent 20 years as a route salesman for SaraLee Bread Company, where he was well-respected by his colleagues and clients alike. His work ethic and commitment to excellence were evident in every interaction, earning him lasting friendships throughout his career.

In addition to his professional contributions, Frank served his country with honor as a sergeant in the Army. His military service instilled in him a sense of discipline and perseverance that resonated through all aspects of his life.

Frank was not only a great father but also a wonderful husband. He poured his love and devotion into his family, who were the center of his world. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Murphy, sons, Ryan Murphy and Joseph Murphy. Frank’s daughters and sons-in-law also held a special place in his heart; he leaves behind Samantha Murphy and Ethan Gooch, as well as Amber and Patrick Underwood, and Susie and Johnathon Adams. Also his loving mother, Bonnis Murphy. He adored his several grandchildren and took immense joy in being a great-grandfather to one great-grandson. He shared a strong bond with his siblings, including brothers Audie Murphy, Quinton and Susan Murphy, David Murphy, and sister Linda and Tracy Derrick. He will be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews who looked up to him as a role model.

Frank was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Murphy and his brother and sister-in-law, Jamie and Jennifer Murphy.

In his leisure time, Frank had a passion for buying, selling, and trading cars, a hobby that brought him much joy and satisfaction. He was a man of simple pleasures, often seen with a warm smile and a friendly wave, embodying the true essence of community.

Frank's legacy of love, service, and dedication will continue to live on through the many lives he touched. His absence will be profoundly felt by his family and friends, who will carry his memory in their hearts forever.
