Frank "Frankie" Cappelletti passed away suddenly on April 4, 2025 at his home in Canton, Massachusetts. He was Born in Boston andwas a lifelong resident of Massachusetts. Frank was the devoted son of the late Frank and Patricia Cappelletti. He is survived by his sister Dolly and Ken Bandera; his brothers Patrick & Ann Cappelletti, John & Chris Cappelletti; his nieces and nephews, Nicole and Michael Bandera, Robert and Joseph Cappelletti, Carli and Jack Cappelletti; and his great-nieces, Gianna Bandera and Francis Cook who will honor his legacy through their own acts of love and kindness.
Frankie's life was a testament to the enduring power of love, family, and tradition. His commitment to family was the cornerstone of his life, he worked many years in security industry in and around the Boston area. He enjoyed being at home with his loving mother, and in her later years he was her loving and devoted caretaker.
Known for his impeccable style, Frankie never missed a chance to don his signature fedora, dressing to the nines as though every day were a special occasion. His old fashion charm and warm presence were a comfort to all who knew him.
Frankie's love for his family was matched only by his passion for sports; he was a diehard fan of Boston and New England sports teams, particularly the Red Sox and Bruins. He celebrated their victories with as much enthusiasm as if they were his own.
Frankie's interest were a colorful tapestry of nostalgia and joy and he was passionate about his Italian heritage. He held a deep appreciation for the classics, whether it was a movie or basking in the melodies of Frank Sinatra, Johnny Mathis, Nat King Cole, just to name a few. His love for police shows was more than a pastime -it was a part of his every day life.
As we bid farewell to Frankie, may his legacy of love and laughter remain a guiding light for all who loved him. Your memory will live on in the hearts of your loved ones. May you rest in peace in the arms of your Mom and Dad.
Visiting hours will be held at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Tuesday April 22nd from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will follow the service at St. Michael's cemetery in Roslindale.
