Frank Windreth Clover, age 93, a native of Bradford, PA and a longtime resident of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Hampton Oaks Health Campus. He was born on July 19, 1930 to the late Lawrence Clover and the late Lucille (Fink) Clover. He was a member of the Catholic Church of the American Martyrs, a 1948 Graduate of Lodi High School in Lodi, Ohio and served his Country proudly in the United States Marines. He was the owner of Clover - Jones Insurance agency for many years and worked for over 60 years in the insurance industry. Frank enjoyed golfing and as a pilot, enjoyed travelling and seeing new places. He was a man of strong ethical principles, a hard worker, wonderful provider and a devoted family man. He was a member of Northern Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rites, Moose Lodge, United States Marine Corps League, Scottsburg American Legion, Austin VFW and the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his two sons, Michael L. Clover and his wife Kathy of Scottsburg, Indiana and Mark R. Clover of Austin, Indiana. Three daughters, Pamela A. Clover and her fiancé Gary Green of Austin, Indiana, Rebecca M. Clover of Austin, Indiana and Lisa K. Clover of St. Louis, MO. Ten grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Vivian (Finley) Clover, three brothers and two sisters.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Christensen - Hoagland Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 12:00 PM. He will be laid to rest at Scottsburg Cemetery with full military honors.
