Pamela Elaine (Pennington) Mosley, age 66 of Austin, Indiana, and the daughter of Edward Pennington and Patricia Bridge, was born on June 9, 1959 in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was a 1977 graduate of Scottsburg High School and worked as an agent for Aflac Insurance for over 30 years. On March 14, 1992, she was united in marriage to Roger A. Mosley, and they enjoyed 33 wonderful years together. Pam was a member of the First Christian Church of Scottsburg for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, dancing, and watching NASCAR races. More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially attending her grandchildren's many activities and games. Pam was a kind and sweet woman, full of unconditional love and deep adoration for her family. Mrs. Mosley passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at her residence with her loving family by her side.
Her life will be cherished by her husband, Roger of Austin; her daughter: Laura Cox and her husband, Brad of Kodak, Tennessee; her sons: Ryan Payne and his wife, Stacy, and Eric Payne and his wife, Tina, both of Austin; her step-daughter: Lindsey Schiermann of Austin; her step-son: Alan Mosley and his wife, Sherry of Austin; her mother: Patricia Bridge of Scottsburg; twelve grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Pennington.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, November 28, 2025 and from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at the Christensen-Hoagland Family Funeral Home, located at 80 North First Street, Scottsburg, Indiana. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at the funeral home. Pam will be laid to rest immediately following at the Pisgah Cemetery in Deputy, Indiana.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the First Christian Church of Scottsburg.
