Richard Crowe, 78, of Austin, Indiana passed away on November 17, 2025, at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born on December 27, 1946 in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late Claude Crowe and Nancy Elizabeth (Baugh) Crowe. On September 27, 1965 Richard married the love of his life, Flossie Sue Davis, and she survives. Throughout his life, Richard embodied the spirit of hard work and dedication. He was a true jack of all trades, always lending a hand and sharing his wisdom. Whether it was fishing by the lake or venturing into the woods for a day of squirrel hunting, Richard found joy in the simple pleasures of life and reveled in nature's beauty. In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by one son, David Crowe; grandson, Joshua Bundy; and four brothers, John Crowe, Warren C. Crow, Darrell Crowe, and Clifton Crowe. Richard is survived by wife, Flossie; two sons, Richard Dale (Tina) Crowe and Daniel Crowe; one sister, Annie (George) Crowe-Smith; nine grandchildren, Brittney (Brandon) Lewis, Jeremiah (Sahara) Crowe, David Jacob (Brianna) Crowe, Dakota Faith (Dylan) Beutel, Joseph (Rebecca) Crowe, Catherine Grace Crowe, Nicholas Rogan Crowe, Sophia Reighn Crowe and Amber Stickles; and seven great grandchildren, Camille, Noah, Olivia, and Grayson and Veronica, Chandler, and Aayla.
