William Scott Redifer, 45, of Austin, Indiana passed away on November 8, 2025, at Norton Scott Hospital in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was born on December 4, 1979, in Scottsburg, Indiana to William Earl Redifer and Alfretta (Campbell) Bole. Scott married the love of his life, Cindy, on September 15, 2014, and she survives. He was a dump truck driver for Gammons Excavating & Trucking. Scott's life was dedicated to hard work as a dump truck driver, where he approached each day with a commitment to excellence and a generous spirit. He took immense pride in his role as a father, sharing countless memorable moments with Laura, especially in the thrills of demolition derbies. Scott eagerly built several demolition cars for Laura to compete with, showcasing not only his craftsmanship but also his unwavering encouragement for her passions. Scott is preceded in death by his father and mother, William Redifer and Alfretta Bole; and two half-brothers, Jeff Stamper and Dylan Redifer. In addition to his wife, Cindy, Scott is survived by one daughter, Laura Redifer; half sister, Pauline (John) Hurley; stepmother, Patti Combs; two nieces, Jalin Stamper and Addy Stamper; one nephew, Brandon Stamper. Cremation was entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Friends will gather to pay their respects and share fond memories on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. The service will take place at The Rock shelter house in Scottsburg, Indiana. Please share memories and condolences at www.collinsfuneralhome.net.
