Frank John Cocca of Sebring, Florida died on January 12th, 2025. Frank was born January 3rd, 1939, in Angola, NY to Frank L. & Nina Cocca.
Frank graduated Gowanda High School in 1956, before enlisting in the United States Airforce. Throughout his career, he traveled extensively throughout the Far East and Southeast Asia. After returning to the United States and being stationed in Oklahoma City, there he met the light and love of his life, Eva (Bennett) Cocca.
Frank and Eva were married in 1960 before moving to Gowanda, New York. There Frank began his career in corporate credit management as a management trainee, through the Household Finance Corporation. Using his Vietnam educational benefits, Frank attended night school where he graduated with an associate's degree in business management from Bryant & Stratton Business School in Buffalo, NY.
Throughout Frank's 35-year career in consumer credit, he received numerous awards, certificates, and accreditations, including the National Association of Credit Management's executive level designation as The Certified Credit Executive® (CCE®). Frank also invested in and started various business ventures, including Cocca Enterprises Corporation which included two retail jewelry stores run by his son and Chief Executive Officer, Frank Anthony Cocca.
Frank enjoyed various interests, including being a musician and member of the Local 108 Musician's Union. Other interests included being a winemaker, little league football coach, and belonging to several different civic and fraternal organizations, as well as investing in real estate opportunities alongside his wife and partner Eva Cocca.
Frank John Cocca is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Eva Roberta Cocca, alongside his seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Frank is preceded in death by his parents Frank L. & Nina Cocca, and two devoted sons, Thomas A. Cocca and Frank A. Cocca (Doc).
A private memorial service is to be held and announced at a later date.
