Frank Contreras

Frank John Contreras was born September 26, 1947, in Kings County, the son of Jess Contreras and Catalina Contreras. His first marriage was to Dorothy Contreras and second marriage to Carolyn Contreras. Frank was a Veteran that served in the Army. He retired from Central Union Elementary School District after working for 20 years. He dedicated his life to his family, always lending a helping hand whenever he was asked to. He was an enthusiastic fan of the Las Vegas Raiders all his life. He spent his life nurturing and supporting his whole family with his unconditional love. He was preceded in death by his father Jess Contreras; mother Catalina Contreras; wives Dorothy Contreras and Carolyn Contreras; brother Rollie Contreras; stepdaughters Elaine Jeff, Regina Barrios, and Brandi Urena; stepson Richard Lee Jr.; and grandchildren Sean Hammond and Vincent Ignacio. He is survived by five brothers and four sisters; son Frank Contreras Jr., daughters Melissa Contreras and Renee Contreras; two stepsons and four stepdaughters; many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. The family would like to express a special thank you to the caregivers, family, and friends for their prayers, kindness, and dedication to Frank during his lifetime. Frank will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
