Frank Stanley Dzedzy, 99, of Eddystone died December 25, 2025 under the care of Hospice at Fair Acres Geriatric Center since October. Born in Chester, he was the son of Peter and Catherine Dzedzy and resided in Eddystone for over 60 years.

Frank needed to support his family at a young age and held several positions that highlighted his gift for mechanical work and craftsmanship. He was employed by Reynolds Metals, Sun Shipbuilding and Drydock Co., and Bunnell Plastics from which he retired. He continued to work part time post retirement at Bunnell for many years. He was a lifetime member of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church.

Frank was drafted into the Army in 1944 and served 2 years. He received an Army Occupation Medal (Japan), Good Conduct Medal Asiatic-Pacific Theater, and the World War II Victory Ribbon.

Frank thoroughly enjoyed wood working, household projects, and especially gardening and yard maintenance. He enjoyed frequent trips to Goodwill to add to his collection of toy cars and fire trucks. He loved local diners and usually favored breakfast any time of the day. Although not an avid golfer, Frank celebrated a hole in one at Clayton Park. He was a friend to anyone that offered him chocolate milk.

Frank was predeceased by his by his sisters Lillian Ferrari Kroepil, Stella White, Rose Shurgailo, and brothers John, Stanley, Walter, and Donald Dzedzy.

Frank was the loving husband of Elizabeth for 62 years who passed away in 2015. He is survived by his son Frank P. Dzedzy and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where relatives and friends may call after 10 AM. Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery.

Memorial gifts may be made to "Friends of Fair Acres" Fair Acres Geriatric Center, 340 N. Middletown Road, Media, PA 19063.
