Frank Eason Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home on Dec. 9, 2025.
Frank R. Eason, age 75, sadly passed away, leaving behind a legacy of devotion, loyalty, and love that will live on through all who knew him.
Frank was born and raised in Malden, MA, and was the son of the late George A. Eason and Theresa (Procopio) Eason of Malden, MA.
Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Cheryl (Marshall) Eason of Pelham, NH, with whom he built a wonderful life that spanned 56 years and was cut too short. He was a cherished and devoted father to his daughter Michele Simone and her husband Kevin, and his son Joseph Eason and his wife Deborah. Frank's greatest happiness came from his role as Papa to his three pride and joys, Ryan, Kelci, and Michael, who brought constant light to his life.
Frank is also survived by his sisters, Helen Blundell of Malden, MA, and Jeanne Scott and her husband Barry Scott of Saugus, MA. He was predeceased by his brother George Eason. Frank is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Frank served in the Navy during the Vietnam war. Following his service, he went to work for SJ Tomasello, joining his father, brother and uncle in the hard labor of building Boston's streets and sidewalks. After that, for 27 years, he worked at General Electric in Lynn, MA. He was always known for his work ethic, consistency, and reliability. Those same qualities defined him outside of work as well. Frank was fiercely loyal and someone who simply never let you down.
Anyone who knew Frank knew of his love for Notre Dame Fighting Irish football. He fulfilled a lifelong dream by attending two games at Notre Dame Stadium in person. His family knows that somewhere above, he is still cheering and shouting, "Go Irish!"
Frank was a great lover of animals, and his family takes comfort in knowing he is now reunited with Dozer, his much-loved and special pet.
Frank will be remembered for his steady presence, his deep love for family, his loyalty, and the sense of security he gave to those fortunate enough to call him Husband, Dad, Papa, Brother, Uncle and Friend. His absence will be deeply felt, but his great, big love will remain forever.
Funeral from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Thursday December 11th at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Frank's life in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00pm-8:00pm. Interment will be private.
