Retired Marine Corps Captain Frank Nolan Green (85) passed away on Feb 8, 2024. He was a native of Castleberry Alabama. He served his country for 22 years during which he did two tours in Vietnam, hosted many dignitaries and served on President Richard Nixon's Inauguration Committee.

Frank had a passion for the restaurant and hospitality business after his military retirement. He managed Baileys famous restaurant in Fowl River, Mobile Yacht Club, The Officers Club at Naval Air Station Pensacola and spent many years as the General Manager of Skyline Country Club in Mobile. Frank was a true patriot and could always bring you up to speed on current events that pertained to our country and our Government. Frank loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren He was proceeded in death by his parents Frank D and Nannie-May Dewberry Green, sister Myrtis Hemley, Brothers Paul Green and Carlton Green. His first wife and the Mother of his children Ann Green and Step Son Mike Meeks . He is survived by his sister, Rachel Schneidewind, his wife Gloria, daughters Devette (Tinker) Dunning, Pam (Frank) Dunlevy, Sheila Green, Nancy (Andy) Nassar, step sons, Brandon Meeks (Danieal) and Mark Meeks, Angie (Robert) Agerton, 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Service will be held at Oak Park Church located at 3321 Sollie Rd Mobile Al 36695 (Flowers should also be delivered here) Saturday Morning Feb 10th Family visitation 9-10 Public Visitation 10-11 Funeral Service immediately following at 11 and interment with full military honors will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens.

The Family will host close friends for a memorial lunch served by the Oak Park Church Benevolence Team in the Fellowship Hall immediately after graveside service.
