Frank proudly served his country in the United States Navy and dedicated 32 years as a City of Pittsburgh Firefighter. A hardworking family man, he loved all Pittsburgh sports and took great pride in his community. He was also a devoted member of the Beechview Loyal Order of the Moose – Lodge 609. Frank will be remembered for his loyalty, strength, and the many lives he touched through his service and kindness.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Athan Georgiades and staff, and also Dr. Gaurav Goel and staff for the excellent care they gave our Dad for the past three years.
Friends received 2-7 p.m. on Thursday, November 20th at BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15216. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 21st at 11:30 a.m. in St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish-St. Catherine of Siena Church, 1810 Belasco Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15216. Burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.

So very sorry for your loss. Frank was a good man in every sense of the word. A Navy Veteran, a Pittsburgh Firefighter, and most importantly a great Husband, Father and Grandfather.
I was somewhat younger than Frank and remember him getting on the trolley at the Shiras stop in Beechview always ready with a smile and a wave! I got to know Frank better after getting on the Fire Department myself. Frank was always prepared to help a fellow Firefighter or lend a hand to anyone in need. On the job he always gave100%. He will be missed...
