Frank Bruce Halpert

Frank Bruce Halpert of Bristol, Connecticut, passed away on February 4, 2026.

Frank was born in Hartford, Connecticut, to the late Issac and Mildred Halpert and grew up in West Hartford. From an early age, he developed a deep love for golf. As a teenager, he worked as a caddy and later went on to work at the club as a golf professional, a passion that stayed with him throughout his life. In 1982, Frank met his beloved wife, Karen, who preceded him in death. Together, they built a loving home and a full life in Newington, Connecticut, centered on family, hard work, and shared experiences.

Frank enjoyed a long and successful career with the Hoffman Auto Group, where he rose through the ranks to become General Manager. He was known for his dedication, leadership, and strong work ethic, earning the respect of colleagues and friends alike.

Family was at the heart of Frank's life. He loved taking his family on vacations, cruises, and trips to the beach. Summer was his favorite season; he spent many summers with friends and family camping at Ross Hill and Witch Meadow later in life you could often find him relaxing by the family pool. He especially cherished holidays and weekend dinners, when the family could gather and spend time together. In the winter months you could bet on seeing Frank watching UCONN basketball, he was a superfan!

He is survived by his children, Michael (Adrienne) and Ashley Beckford (Corey); his sister, Linda Halpert Howell; his three grandchildren, Carter, Carsen & McKenzie; and many nieces and nephews. He will be remembered for his love of family, his warmth, and the many memories he created with those who loved him.

A special thank you to the staff at Bristol Hospital for their outstanding support over the last 7 months. In lieu of flowers Franks family has requested donations be made to the Bristol Hospital Foundation.
