Funeral Services for Frank L. Haynie, 77 of Alexandria, will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home at 1:00 PM with Rev. Jeff McElroy and Scotty Duke officiating the service. Burial will follow the service at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 5:00 PM -7:00 PM.
Mr. Haynie passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by his family. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Glenda Haynie, his parents, Linwood and Inus Haynie and his brother, Fred Haynie.
Left to cherish the memory of Mr. Haynie is his children, Teresia Haynie and Pam Ray (David), his grandson, Zachary Ray (Perri), his great grandsons, Jace Ray, Cooper Ray and Austin Ray, his God Grand Daughters, Cheyenne and Sage Johnson, his sisters, Betty Bolt and Cathy Duke and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Haynie was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of Asberry Baptist Church where he was serving as Associate Pastor, he was in ministry for 42 years. He served as Chaplain for RMC for 10 years. He enjoyed spending time fishing for Bass and watching Alabama Football. He loved his family with all his heart and considered his children, grandsons and great grandsons to be his pride and joy. He will be deeply missed.
