Frank E. Johnson age 89 of Hartland, Wisconsin passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. Beloved husband of Melva (nee Huseman) for 64 years. Loving father of Kathy Ann Johnson and Lori Kay (Glenn) Hanon. Proud Poppo of Andrew (Kristen) Leef, Megen (Kevin) Johnson, Paul (Ryan) Hanon, Robert (Jessica) Hanon. Great grandpa of Silas and Nolan Johnson, Mari and Elaina Hanon, Clara, Lizzy and Bridget Hanon.
After graduation from High School in Kansas City, MS., he enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served in Germany. After returning from the service he met Melva (nee Huseman), the love of his life that he married and raised a family with. They met at K-State University. Upon graduation from college he began his career and worked for Phil Orth Company and became Vice President of Operations. After retirement Frank, Melva and a few friends formed Playin' Folk, a musical group that was well known in the Lake Country Area. Some of Frank's favorite things to do were hosting family and friends at Three Lakes and just simply being with his family.
Memorial Visitation will take place at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Sunday, March 5, 2023 from 2:30 PM until 3:45 PM. Memorial service to follow at 4:00 PM. A live stream link will be available for those not able to able to attend.
