Frank Paul Jung

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frank Paul Jung, who passed away peacefully on October 10th, 2025, at the age of 61.

Born on May 23, 1964, in Hague, North Dakota, Frank lived a life defined by love, humility, and quiet strength. He was a devoted husband, a proud and loving father, a loyal friend, and a coach and mentor to many. He graduated from Aberdeen Central High School in 1982 and Northern State University in 1985. After college he started his career in the convenience store business with SuperAmerica and then with Holiday Stationstores/Circle K the last 30 years. During this time, he met and was mentored by many amazing people in the industry.

Family was the center of Frank’s world. As a husband and father, he led with patience, compassion, and unwavering support. He took great pride in coaching his children — not just in sports, but in life — always teaching by example. Whether on the sidelines or at home, Frank’s steady presence and kind heart left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Frank also found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved spending time outdoors, especially when he had a fishing pole in hand and his family by his side. Whether casting a line on a quiet lake or sharing stories around a fire, these were the moments he treasured most.

He is survived by his loving wife, Annette; his children, Amanda (Ryan) Howg and Tyler Jung; his siblings, Bernie (Ron) Udell, Marlene English, Mike (Dot) Jung, and Glenn Jung; his in-laws, Mavis Goldade, Gary (Jaine) Goldade, and Annie Hoerner; Fur Children, Oakley and Briggs, as well as many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss his calm presence and caring spirit. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, William and Alvina Jung; his stepmother, Rose Jung; siblings, Willy Jung and Loretta Jung; and in-laws, Frank Goldade, Doug English, and Debbie Jung.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Frank’s life will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m at Northview. All who knew and loved Frank are warmly invited to attend.

Frank will be remembered not only for what he did, but for who he was — a devoted family man, a coach, a fisherman, and a friend. His legacy of love, guidance, and quiet strength lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him.
