Frank Kidd Obituary

Born June 29, 1942, in Clifton Forge, VA, he lived in Washington, D.C. before moving to Lorain in 1952.
Frank worked in the dietary department of the former St. Joseph Hospital for 20 years, retiring in 1990. He previously worked for the Hoop Drive-in Restaurant, Goodwill, and Ripple Motors.
He was a member of the former Faith United Methodist Church in Lorain, where he volunteered many hours.
Frank enjoyed playing the banjo and guitar, fishing, and bowling, and loved to walk.
Surviving is his sister, Rose Ferguson of Lorain; and brother, Samuel Ferguson of Nova, OH.
Frank was preceded in death by his father, Henry Kidd; stepfather and mother, Claude and Thelma (nee Furry) Waters; a brother, Tommy Kidd; and sister Sally English.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 11:00 am in the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Lorri Bandagski will officiate. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain. To send online condolences go to www.dovinfcs.com.

Frank attended my church on Reid Ave. for a while, what a very quiet, sweet young man he was. Frank was 6 years older than me but I still remember him. Thoughtful condolences to his family
