Sr. Frank Lagerman

A Celebration of Life for Frank Lagerman, Sr., will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Special Providence Baptist Church in Baldwin, LA.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 9:00 A.M. until the commencement of the celebration at Special Providence Baptist Church in Baldwin, LA.
Frank will be interred at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Baldwin, LA.
Frank Lagerman, Sr. was born on June 3, 1922, to the late Joseph and Agnes Schexnayder Logerman.
Frank accepted Christ in his life at an early age joining Special Providence Baptist Church in Baldwin under the leadership of the late Rev. C.E. Baptiste. He was a member of the choir and the Quarter Silver Light Harmonaires. Frank married the love of his life Amelia Connor Lagerman and they were blessed with four beautiful children.
Frank was a member of M.W. Prince Hall Grand Lodge; he achieved a degree of Master Mason of Leonidas #29 for over 50 years.
Frank loved all the earth had to offer. He was a consummate gardener, and enjoyed hunting, shrimping, and was a master mechanic. If it were broken, he could fix it. But he most loved fishing, which is a passion he shared with his brothers, nephews, and friends.
He had many musical talents that included playing the guitar, harmonica, and dancing to his favorite zydeco music. He also enjoyed spending time and telling stories with his family and spoiling his grandchildren.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Frank Jr(Barbara Ann) of Houston,TX, Agnes Sealee of Stockwood, NY, Audrey Bogan of Baldwin, LA, and Marjorie(Andrew) Gaulke of Van Alsten, TX; brothers, Harold Logerman of Baldwin, LA, Lawrence Logerman of Los Angeles, CA,; one sister-in-law, Rosette Walker of Houston, TX; nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, nine great, great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Amelia Connor Lagerman; parents; five brothers, Joe, Leroy, Ulysses, Alton, Charles; one sister, Netha L. Pentard; one great grandson, LCPL Marques Kyle Bogan; one great great granddaughter, Keliah Mendez.
