Frank Lane, born June 3, 1989, in Canton, Ohio, passed away on December 31, 2025, in Stoughton, Wisconsin. Apparently, he decided that heaven-or at least somewhere with better snacks-couldn't wait any longer. The world is now objectively less funny, less warm, and far less tolerable without him in it.
Frank found a deep, genuine, steady love.
with Lynsey Jiskra, who stood beside him through both life's chaos and its calm. He embraced Lynsey's daughter, Sterling, proving that family isn't always about blood.
-it's about showing up and choosing one another.
Frank is survived by his children; Lynsey Jiskra his significant other; her daughter Sterling; his sisters, Jamie Lane and Yvonne Rummel; his stepfather, Dave.
Cowling (Tina); his grandmother, Peg Hochstetler; and many aunts, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Michelle J. Cowling, whom he loved very much.
Frank will be missed deeply, talked about often, and remembered exactly as he was-perfectly himself.
An evening visitation will place on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 from 5PM until 7PM at Cress Funeral Service, 206 W. Prospect St., Stoughton, WI 53589.
