FRANK A. MAUER JR., age 92, of Aurora, passed away Monday, September 23, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Christine J. (nee Zawie); loving father of Steven and Jeffrey; dear brother of all of the following deceased siblings Charles, Johnny and Joe Koman and Dorothy Blatnik, beloved brother-in-law to Veronica Neiman (Edward) and uncle of Elaine Falzone (Pete). Korean War Veteran of the United States Army. Frank was an accomplished and acclaimed accordion player throughout the Midwest. He enjoyed playing and was a great golfer. Frank was a retired Insurance Executive and a longtime member of Church of the Holy Angels in Bainbridge. All are invited to gather at Church of the Holy Angels, 18205 Chillicothe Road, Chagrin Falls, Ohio 44023 where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 27, 2024 at 11 a.m. VISITATION FRIDAY 10:00 A.M. UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE AT CHURCH. Interment All Souls Cemetery, Chardon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials take the form of donations in Frank's name to The Ursuline Sisters of Cleveland, 2550 Lander Rd, Pepper Pike, Ohio 44124.
