Frank McAuley Jr., 91, of Marietta, passed away September 8, 2025 at his residence.
Frank was born July 22, 1934 in Caldwell, Ohio to Frank Sr. and Angie {Carter} McAuley.
He proudly served in the U.S. National Guard
He married Carol Rohrbough on March 25, 1972.
Frank was an Iron and Structural Steel worker for many years before his retirement. Most recently he was a member of the Fairview Heights Chapel, where he was a Teacher and Assistant Pastor. Frank enjoyed running and working with his hands. He spent a lot of time welding, fabricating and working on projects around the house. Frank liked to teach Sunday school and fill in as a Pastor whenever he could. He studied the bible every day. Frank had the opportunity to marry two of his family members. He was very family oriented and spent a lot of time camping and travelling the U.S.
Frank will be deeply missed by his wife Carol McAuley; children Ed (Peggy) McAuley of Palatka, FL, Charles (Paula) McAuley of Baltimore, OH, Ruth Ann (Bill) Kopchak of Cambridge, OH, Jane Allinson of Toronto, Canada, Tim McAuley of Caldwell, OH, Frank (Rosalyn) McAuley of Blacklick, OH, Justin (Angie) McAuley of West Liberty, OH, and Deborah (Tom) Miller of St. Marys, WV; 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his sons Ray McAuley and Bill McAuley.
Friends may call Sunday September 14, 2025 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Eastlawn Chapel, Marietta. Burial will be held at a later date at Tunnel Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held in the spring. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
