Frank J Mendes Jr.

Frank J. Mendes Jr., 57 of Sevierville TN, formerly of Jackson and Morganville NJ, passed away January 1, 2026 at the LeConte Medical Center, Sevierville. He was an Auto Body Manager for Car Star of Trenton. Frank was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and NASCAR enthusiast. Frank's passion for cars and racing led him back to Wall Stadium, where with the Scisco racing team, he spent many hours. He was affectionately known as "Francios the Jack Man". When home Frank's garage door was always open to receive friends and help neighbors. His well-manicured lawn was the envy of the neighborhood.
Frank is predeceased by his parents, Frank J. Sr. and Winnie Mendes. He is survived by his partner in life Patrice of Sevierville, TN, cherished children who were the pride of his life, Frank W. and wife Amanda of Burlington, Joseph Mendes of Sevierville, Christina Mendes of Philadelphia and Vincent Mendes of Jackson. Frank also leaves his cherished grandson Frank V. Mendes, his treasured sister Michelle Weadock and her husband Shawn of Colts Neck, nieces and nephews; Caitlin, (his racing buddy), and Christian Weadock of Colts Neck, Jack, Ella, Abby (Go Bills!), and Joe Denicore of Doylestown, Maddie and Andrew Brickner of Hamilton, and Maya and Casia Wagner of Hillsborough. Frank leaves behind many extended family members and friends who he loved like family. He, and his infectious laugh will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.
Frank was an organ donor, and his gifts were given to several recipients upon his passing. The family would like to acknowledge the care and support that the Tennessee Donation Services team provided throughout the donation process. Relatives and friends are invited Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 11AM to 1PM and 3PM to 5PM for a Memorial Visitation at the funeral home.
