Frank Moreno 92, of Waxahachie passed away October 25, 2025. He was born to the late Otilio and Viviana Moreno on December 3, 1932.
Frank was a very devoted Catholic. He was baptized, completed his first communion, and was an altar boy at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waxahachie. He enjoyed football, dancing and listening to conjunto and Tejano music. He was a happy and loving person, and always had time for school events and family gatherings.
He served in the United States Army from 1953-55 as a Radar Operator and stationed at Ft. Sheridan, Illinois. Upon completing military service, he was a Corporal and awarded the National Defense Service Medal.
He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret, parents Otilio and Viviana Moreno, brothers Andy, Joe, and Alfred, sister Frances, brothers in law Tom Pavoldi, Delfino Valdez and Sisters-in-law Mary and Lupe Moreno.
He is survived by his daughter Sylvia Moreno and sons Frank Moreno, Jr.(Margaret) and David Moreno of Irving; brothers Pete Moreno of Waxahachie, John Moreno (Shirley) of Carrollton, Jesse Moreno (Vicki) of Desoto, Albert Moreno (Jerry) of Seagoville; sisters Pauline Pavoldi of Waxahachie, Geneva Aguilar of Mesquite, Olga Valdez of Dallas, Cynthia Tamez (Gerald) of Dallas and sister-in-law Vera Moreno of Irving. Several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Pallbearers will be Frank Moreno, Jr., James Moreno, Jesse James Moreno, Timothy Moreno, Anthony Moreno, and Frank Flores, Jr.
