Frank Nelson Obituary
Born August 3, 1947, in Fayetteville, Frank was the son of the late Julius and Marlin Zall Nelson. Frank was an active member of Beth David Synagogue in Greensboro for a number of years before relocating to Charlotte. He owned and operated Nellar Realty, a commercial real estate company.
Frank is survived by his wife, Ellen Debra Sclar Nelson, of the home; three children, Philip Nelson, of Washington, DC, Aaron Nelson and wife, Elisa, of Birmingham, AL, and Dori Slutsky and husband, Brian, of Charlotte; and five grandchildren, Reagan, Austin, Reed, Alexa, and Morgan.
Graveside will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at the Hebrew Cemetery in High Point, led by Rabbi Yosef Plotkin. The family will have a gathering of friends at the home of Joyce and Bob Shuman following the service.
