Frank A. Otto, 81, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. He was born on December 10, 1944, in Eugene, OR to the late Werner and Irene Otto. He moved to Oshkosh in grade school and graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1963. Frank then served as a Drill Sergeant E5 in the US Army before returning to Oshkosh to complete his Bachelor of Business Administration and Finance Degrees at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Frank married the love of his life, Suzan (Zingler) Otto, in March 1971. He was the loving father of two daughters and five grandchildren.
He worked in the trucking industry as the owner of Transquip, inc. in Green Bay, WI, the local Mack Truck dealership. Frank was an avid classic car buff, enjoyed driving all over the US, and was a Brewers and Packers fan. He was a member of the WI Truck Dealer's Assn, the National Truck Dealer's Assn, the National Tri-Five Assn, and the Classic Chevy Club.
Frank is survived by his wife Suzan (Zingler) Otto, daughter Noelle (Otto) Weis (spouse William Weis), daughter Brindle (Otto) Koeper (spouse John Koeper, Sr), grandchildren Mara (Weis) LaMere (spouse Aidan LaMere), Jacen Weis, Allana Weis, Abriena Koeper, and John Koeper, Jr., brother-in-law James Luethy, and many nieces and nephews.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Werner & Irene (Pugh) Otto, his sisters Irene Otto, Leah (Otto) Ellis, Cindy (Otto) Luethy, his half-brother Robert Otto, and brother-in-law James Ellis.,
Family and friends may gather on Friday, January 23, 2026 at The Automobile Museum and Event Center 400 S Adams St, Green Bay, WI 54301 from 1-3pm for a celebration of Frank’s life.
