Frank Henry Owsiak, age 83, of LaFayette passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025.
He was a 1959 graduate of Western High School in Detroit, Michigan. Frank was an electrical lineman specialist and retired after 55 years with DTE Energy. He was a member of St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church. Frank enjoyed golfing, bowling, softball, and shooting pool.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Ann Owsiak; son, Frankie Owsiak, parents, Frank and Ruth Owsiak; brother, Andy Owsiak; and sisters, Connie St. Dennis and Pamela Tatar.
Frank is survived by his wife, Katherine Owsiak; daughters, Melissa (Bill) Gagnon and Reneé (Kelly) Lennard; son, Andrew (Melissa) Owsiak; stepson, Michael (Angie) York; grandchildren, B.J. (Tasha) Gagnon, Michael (Sara) Gagnon, Daniel (Ian Jozefowicz) Gagnon, Nicholas (Maddie) Lennard, Kristen (Adam) John, Jenna (Adam) Duggan, Jon Lennard, Drew Owsiak, and Mindy Owsiak; and several great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 5 p.m. Friday, March 14, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Father Brian Bufford officiating.
Interment will take place at the LaFayette City Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Andrew Owsiak, Drew Owsiak, B.J. Gagnon, Michael York, Michael Gagnon, and Daniel Gagnon.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 3 p.m. to the hour of service at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
