Frank J. Pasqueno Sr., 95, of Rockford, passed away at home on Friday, November 14, 2025. Born in Taylorville, IL, on February 19, 1930, to Dominic and Blanche (Bouvier) Pasqueno. Frank served in the U.S. Army for a couple of years before going on to join the union, which he was extremely proud of. He began working for Chrysler in 1966 and spent majority of his career there. He married Sandra Rudolph on April 4, 1970, and they spent 46 years together, until her passing on December 2, 2016. Frank always kept busy, even after retirement. He worked at several bars in the area and even owned one of his own, the Trio Ballroom. Up until recently, he was a member of the Board of Retirees for the union. Frank enjoyed fishing, as his family recalls many good memories spent out on Lake Michigan. He enjoyed going to the YMCA as well, visiting several times a week. After a long day, he could be found tuning into his favorite show, Wheel of Fortune. He will also be missed by his dog, Capone and cat, Sophie.
Frank is survived by his children, Nancy (Andy) Dubois, Debbie Pasqueno, Dan (Laura) Chiodini, Dawn (Paul) Anderson, Sandy Johnson, Steven (Betty) Pasqueno, Hank Pasqueno; grandchildren, Shawnee Johnson, Jessica Kazee, Elizabeth Duckett, Brandan Chiodini, Mitchell (Kelly) Pasqueno, Matthew Pasqueno, Mason Pasqueno, Shane (Cassandra) Johnson, Cassandra Magdanz, Caterina Anderson, Lexi Anderson, Jason Pasqueno, Kevin (Maria) Sheridan; brother, Jerry Riddle; special nieces, Pam Stebbins, Denise Fassbinder; special friends, Bill, Carol, Mike; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents; wife, Sandra Pasqueno; son, Frank “Jay” Pasqueno; grandson, Keith Sheridan; sisters, Delores Marshall, Francis Sondell; brother, Bill Riddle; and half-siblings.
A Funeral Service for Frank will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford, IL 61108 at 1:00 p.m. A visitation will take place an hour prior, from 12:00 through 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
