Frank J. Placido, 73, of Fall River, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River.
Born in Newport, Rhode Island, he was the son of the late Frank J. Placido and Mary A. (Souza) Placido.
Frank worked for the majority of his career as a boat builder and found great joy in working on his trucks and cars.
He is survived by his children, Renee Heddy and her spouse David, and Carrie Placido; his grandchildren David, Zachary, Kayla, and Terrance; and his great-grandchild Azriel. He is also survived by his sisters Michelle Tanner and Frances Stocklinski, as well as several nieces and nephews, and his former wife Susan Benoit. He was predeceased by his son Frank P. Placido, his great-grandchild Kaiden, and his siblings Roger Gaboriau and Patricia Sherman.
Funeral services will be private.
