In Loving Memory of Frank Plemel, Jr
Frank Plemel, Jr, age 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 11, 2023. His courageous three-month battle with cancer came to an end, but his spirit and memories will forever live on.
Born to the late Frank and Evelyn Plemel on August 2, 1947 in Dunbar, WI. He settled in Dunbar and the surrounding areas, where he helped raise his three children. Later in life, he spent much of his time in Elkhart, IN, pursuing his passion for HVAC work and engaging in lively conversations with anyone who cared to listen. Frank built lasting friendships along the way, especially dear to him were Jody (Patty), Ray (Kendra) and Bob, all in Indiana. Their love and kindness throughout the years were a testament to the special bond they shared.
Frank was a true jack of all trades, excelling in plumbing, heating and air conditioning. However, his greatest joy came from interacting with people. He had a gift for storytelling, and though we've heard his tales countless times, we would give anything to hear them once more. In his younger days, he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family, creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever.
He is survived by his two daughters, Lorri Archibald and her children, Heidi (Matt) Brockman and Jordon Miller; Tammy (Scott) Lentz and their children, Teddy (Ashley), Kasi (Adam) Stankevich and Jesse (Tayler); one son, Chuck (Lori) Plemel and their children Tony (Jaclyn) Ringuette and Kylie. Additionally, he leaves behind eight great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his siblings, Evelyn French, Nancy Meyers, Dianne Thull, Earl Plemel and Dennis (Judie) Plemel; as well as sister-in-law, Patricia Plemel and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Rex Monroe, Maxine Mech, Shirley Logan, Carol Sutek and Edward Plemel; in-laws Paul Sutek, Joe French, Delores Monroe, Louis Mech, John Logan, Larry Thull and Clarney Meyers.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr Alimpertis and the compassionate staff at Aurora BayCare Oncology for their exceptional care during Frank's battle. Additionally, they extend a profound thank you to the extraordinary team at New Care in Crivitz, where countless angels cared for Frank. The love he felt from the nurses and staff was immediate and the family will be forever grateful for their exceptional care.
Family will receive relatives and friends, Friday, June 16th at Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home in Marinette from 2:00pm until time of service at 3:30pm.
