Frank Radosti Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 21, 2025.
Frank Radosti, 90, of DeLand, Florida, went to be with the Lord on October 11, 2025. Born on October 18, 1934, in Newark, New Jersey to Frank and Emma (née Baumann) Radosti.
Frank dedicated himself with love for his country, family, and friends. He served in the United States Air Force, and received the Warren County Distinguished Military Service medal. After serving in the United States Air Force, Frank was active with the Budd Lake Fire Department in Mt Olive, New Jersey and worked for Mein Oil Company located in New Jersey for many years. He was the President of the Phillipsburg Senior Center in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, where he resided.
A man of many interests, Frank enjoyed weekend camping trips with friends and family, and running marathons and entering competitions. His love of photography and film developing lead him to creating his own in-home studio. Frank also enjoyed Amateur Radio, also known as ham radio, the use of the radio spectrum for noncommercial communications. Antique watches and the mechanisms of their functionality and operation fascinated Frank. He loved being the center of attention, and always had a way of making you laugh or smile. He was a man of kindness, integrity, and great values.
Frank survived by five children, Lucinda (Jonnie Manning) Hill of South Carolina, Janice (Thomas Stanhope ) Philhower of New Jersey, Robert (Elana) Radosti of Orange City, Florida, Brenda Radosti of Ormond Beach, Florida, Geanna Radosti of Mount Dora, Florida; his companion, Peg Tand of DeLand, Florida; his eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many friends and family members who will miss him dearly.
A celebration of life will be held on October 25, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Alliance Health and Rehabilitation Center, 130 West Armstrong Ave, Deland Florida 32720, followed by a family gathering later
