It's with great sadness that we say goodbye to Frank John Rischitelli of Hampton Township, formerly of Monessen, who peacefully passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025. Frank was the beloved husband of 55 years of Barbara Geiger Rischitelli; father of Michael Rischitelli (Jamie), Joanna Massetti (Christian), and Lisa Rischitelli (Jason Buck); son of the late Frank A. and Dolly Ross Rischitelli; brother of Daniel Rischitelli (Karen) and Gail Falbo (Frank); and grandfather of Alex Massetti and Nina Buck.
Frank was an incredibly hard worker, who started driving trucks at his family's business in his teens. After graduating from Penn State in 1969, he eventually purchased Rischitelli Brothers Trucking and built up the business until his retirement in 2002. During his years in Pennsylvania, Frank enjoyed attending Steelers and Penguins games, working on his 1967 Corvette, and spending summers on Yough Lake with his family. After retirement, Frank and Barbara spent many happy years in Florida, golfing, enjoying the beach and the pool, and making deep connections with family and new friends. In 2023, Frank and Barbara relocated back to Pennsylvania, this time in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, where Frank spent many happy hours with his grandchildren. Frank's easy-going nature, subtle sense of humor, and warmth will be greatly missed.
Celebrate Mr. Rischitelli’s life with his family at a Memorial Service to be announced at a later date. Arrangements made by PERMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 923 Saxonburg Blvd. The family respectfully suggests donations be made to Lewy Body Dementia Association, ibda.org or Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation, One Chatham Center, Suite 300, Pittsburgh PA 15219.
