HUDSON, OH - Robert J. Rischitelli Sr. "Bob" passed away peacefully on November 1, 2016 in Hudson, OH after a long battle with kidney disease. He was surrounded by family at his passing. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Donna L. Rischitelli (nee Frost). Bob was the loving father of John (Anne Marie), Robert Jr. (Jennifer), Dean (Jennifer), and Mary Jo Clark (Kevin); grandfather of Robby, Ryan, Sully, Tommy, Maggie, Lauren, Andrew, Mack, Jack, Kate and Matthew; son of the late Josephine (nee Colognesi) and John E. Rischitelli; brother of Barbara Barrows (Whitey), Jo Ann Slattery (late Fran) and Mary Weaver (Kent); uncle, brother in law, cousin and friend of many. Bob was born on November 19, 1937 in Southbridge, MA. Bob graduated from Southbridge High School in 1955 and attended Valley Forge Military Academy as a post graduate. Bob served two years in the United States Army before enrolling at Bowling Green State University. He graduated in 1962 from BGSU with a degree in accounting. He worked for the White Motor Company in Cleveland, OH before moving to Sturbridge, MA to work for American Optical. He moved to Hudson, OH in 1981 with his family to work for BF Goodrich. Upon retirement in 2002, he moved to Florida with Donna and returned to Hudson during the summers. He loved his family dearly and cherished the many family gatherings and sporting events and activities of his children and grandchildren. He was a dear husband, father and friend. He will be greatly missed by all. Family will receive friends to celebrate Bob's life at Johnson Romito Funeral Home 19 E. Main St., Hudson, Ohio on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 between 5:30PM and 8PM and Thursday, November 10, 2016 between 10AM and 11:30AM. Donations may be made to American Diabetes Association P.O.
