Frank T. Sandonato Sr

Of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on February 21, 1955, a son of the late Henry and Flora [Marsico] Sandonato, Sr.
Mr. Sandonato graduated from Trott Vocation High School in 1973.
He was a welder with Harrison Radiator which became Delphi for over 30 years before retiring in 2006.
Mr. Sandonato served as an usher at St. Peter's Church for many years.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking and gardening.
Mr. Sandonato is survived by his wife Fifi A. [Bruscato] Sandonato, his children Frank T. (Melissa), III, Christopher (Shabatini) and Nicole Sandonato, a grandson Christopher "C.J.", his siblings Henry (Carol) Sandonato and Barbara (late Claus) Leyder, also many nieces and nephews.
His family will be present on Friday from 9:30-11 AM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY, where funeral services will be at 11:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM at St. Peter's Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY.
