Born in Paterson, Frank became a resident of Hawthorne 42 years ago. Frank, a master carpenter, owned and operated his own company, Frank Scanlan Carpentry LLC, and retired in 2008.
Frank was the beloved husband of Janet Scanlan (nee Samatovage). Loving grandfather of David Joseph Perrine and Diana Perrine. Frank was predeceased by his daughter Dawn Perrine and granddaughter Dana Perrine.
A funeral service will be held at 3:30pm on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00pm – 3:30pm. Cremation is private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials donations can be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929. (www.stjude.org)
