Frank “Satch” Souza, of Fall River, formerly of Swansea, MA. passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family & sister Patricia. He was 85 years old.
He lived a life like no other. To know Satch was to love him. A father, a husband, a papa, a brother & a friend. He was the best at all those titles he held.
He loved riding motorcycles, listening to the oldies, going to the casino, watching wrestling, playing cards with his friends & most of all his partner in crime, his wife Madeline. Who he called his “main squeeze”. His grandchildren & great grandchildren were the lights of his life.
He worked for many years for the laborers union local 610. Besides that he & his wife owned two bars “Our Place” & the “Nile Cafe” where they spent many of the best years of his life.
He was led through life with love by his wife Madeline Souza. His daughter Robin Rodrigues & husband Gary Rodrigues. His daughter Shelly O’rouke & husband Joseph O’rouke. His granddaughter Corbin Ferreira & husband Alex Ferreira. His granddaughter Katie Faria & fiancé Jeffery Brilhante. Great grandchildren Maci, Jesse, Baby Alex & Jp. He leaves behind 5 siblings & many nieces and nephews.
Satch was one in a million & one of a kind. A true Legend. He will be deeply missed by many for his stories he told about the “good old days” and for the way he loved his family.
