Dingmans Ferry, PA - Frank "Poppy" VanderMark, age 75, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Milford Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Milford, Pennsylvania. Born in Sussex to the late Herman K. Flood and Catherine VanderMark, Frank lived most of his life in Sussex County before moving to Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania several years ago. He had been employed in the asphalt and paving industry before his retirement. Besides his parents, Frank was predeceased by his wife, Susan Crane; his daughters, Mary and Catherine VanderMark; his brother, Herman VanderMark; and his sister, Sadie. He is survived by his sons, Chris and Frank Crane and Jerry VanderMark; his daughters, Melissa VanDunk and Cindy VanderMark; his brother, Arnold VanderMark; his sisters, Maude Turse, Dorothy Shauger, Susan Mericle, and Linda Babcock; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In the final phase of his life, Frank was never left alone. He was consistently surrounded by the love of his family, particularly his two devoted granddaughters, Jessica Crozier and Jordan Crozier. These granddaughters were by his side every step of the way, ensuring his comfort and well-being until the very end. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Deckertown-Union Cemetery in Wantage. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.pinkelfuneralhome.com
