Frank Charles Vaske, a cherished member of the Cincinnati community, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2025, at Christ Hospital. Born on March 28, 1943, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Frank lived a life full of love and dedication, leaving behind a legacy that will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
A proud graduate of Deer Park High School class of 1961, Frank embarked on a successful career, retiring from General Electric after a remarkable 30 years of service. His commitment and hard work were a testament to his character, traits that resonated not only in his professional life but also in his personal relationships.
Frank was known for the time he dedicated to his family. He found immense joy in spending moments with his loved ones and took great pride in his hometown of Cincinnati. His adventurous spirit led him to explore new places in his motorhome, a hobby that enriched his life with beautiful memories and experiences.
Frank is survived by his beloved daughters, Jill Vaske and her husband Chris Elliott, and Robin Anderson along with her husband David. He was a proud grandfather to three grandchildren: Sarah, Joshua, and Leah Anderson, all of whom brought him great joy.
He is also survived by his brother, Lee Vaske, and his wife Linda; his niece, Lyn Punkari and her husband Rob Merkle; and nephews, Christopher Vaske and Jeremy Vaske, who will carry forward his legacy of kindness and strong family ties.
Frank joins his beloved wife, Joan, in eternal rest, along with his parents, George and Virginia Vaske. He was preceded in death by his half-brothers Don and George, half-sisters Helen Fleming, Ramona Setty, and Angie Hunt, as well as his sister Jenny Vaske-Punkari, and brother Walter.
Frank Charles Vaske’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will continue to celebrate his life and the joyful moments they shared. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati Columbus Rd., West Chester, OH 45069, on Monday, July 28, 2025, from 12 Noon until time of funeral service at 1 PM.
