Ellabell- Frank Howard Vincent, age 77 passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2024 at his home. Mr. Vincent was born September 30, 1946 in Savannah, GA to the late Charlie Vincent and Mattie Mae Huggins Vincent. Mr. Frank was in bread production at Derst Baking Company and later served as a mechanic for the Georgia Department of Transportation. He was an excellent mechanic and enjoyed fishing and hunting. In addition to his parents, Mr. Vincent was preceded in death by two brothers, Charlie Vincent and William “Bill” Vincent and two sisters, Marie Davis and Brenda Burnsed.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Margaret Strickland Vincent of Ellabell; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Frank Vincent of Ellabell and Brad and Staci Vincent of Register; one daughter, Cynthia Vincent of Ellabell; one brother, Jerry Vincent of Hagan; two sisters, Linda Faye Myers of Metter and Catheline Martinez of Savannah; caregiver, Timothy Johnson of Ellabell; 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 6-8 P.M. Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday, May 8, 2024 in the chapel of Flanders Powell Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Northside Cemetery.
