Mr. Frank Lemmie Willis, 77, of Ty Ty went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, December 8, 2025.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church of Ty Ty with Rev. John Smith officiating. Interment will follow in First Baptist Church of Ty Ty Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, December 11th from 5:00 to 6:30 P.M. at Albritton Funeral Home. The casket will lie in state an hour before the service in the church.
Pallbearers will be Caleb Willis, Micah Willis, Ben Watson, Joseph Watson, Tye Cottle and Sephus Willis. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of First Baptist Church of Ty Ty.
Frank Willis was born April 6, 1948 in Tifton, Georgia to the late Lemmie J. and Elfriede Willis. Mr. Willis was a member of First Baptist Church of Ty Ty where he served as a deacon as well as in many other roles throughout his years. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. For over fifty years he worked with his hands building custom homes and serving those around him in whatever capacity needed.
Mr. Willis is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Peggy Watson Willis, his daughter Emily Willis, and son Eric Willis (Megan); grandchildren, Caleb, Micah and Sadie; brothers, Vernon Willis (Andrea), Roy Willis (Lynda), and Glen Willis and sister, Shirley Pisciotta (Don) along with numerous nephews, nieces, and great nephews and great nieces.
Mr. Willis’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude and heart felt thank you to the staff of the Anita Stewart Oncology Center – Southwell, Southwell Hospice of Tift Area and the nurses and doctors of Southwell Tift Regional Medical Center of their exceptional care.
