Frank Zagami

Frank Zagami, age 95, a longtime resident of Winchester, passed away on December 17, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband for 71 years of Santa Maria (Vadala) Zagami.

Born in Messina, Italy, he was the son of Salvatore and Maria (Zagami) Zagami. He was raised and educated in Italy and came to the United States where he worked in the Carpenter's Union as a carpenter and floor-layer.

In his spare time, Frank enjoyed cooking his mother's recipes from when he was young, walking the mall with his Italian friends, tending to his garden and fruit trees and watching all the Boston sports teams, but the most important thing was his family. His family remembered how he was always there to assist with any task and could fix or put together just about anything without reading instructions.

In addition to his wife, Santa, Frank is lovingly survived by his children: Salvatore Zagami and his partner Laura Ford of Monroe, NH, Maria T. Holland and her husband Stephen of Greenville, SC, Frances Dukich and her husband Steven of North Andover. He was the cherished grandfather of Toni Marie (Eric), Carianne (Keith), Frank (Maryann), Stephen, Jr. (Lindsay), Jennifer (Jerred), Laura (Taylor), Erin, Christopher (Brett), Melissa (James) and Michelle (Daniel) and the great-grandfather of Sydney, Stephen III, Bella, Ella, Simone, Celia, Sofia, Frankie, Leo, Mila, Joey, Dava, Liam, Riley, Kelsey and Emily. He was the dear brother of the late Giuseppina Zagami and also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 155 Washington St., Winchester, on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 10AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend and are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery.
