With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mr. Frankie Nicholas Jackson, 64, of Effingham, who transitioned on Friday, February 7, 2025.
Frankie Nicholas Jackson was born on March 18, 1960, in Florence County to the late Nicholas and Maxine (Brown) Jackson.
Frankie was educated in the Florence County public school system and was a proud graduate of South Florence High School, Class of 1978. He dedicated 28 years of service to DuPont before retiring.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Maxine Jackson; his sister, Deborah Jackson-Cato; and his sister-in-law, Brindle Segars.
Cherishing his memory are his devoted wife of 32 years, Kimberlyn Jackson of the home; five loving daughters, Maya Jackson of Effingham, SC, Jazmyne Jackson of Raleigh, NC, Fredricka Jackson, Ashley Jackson, and Jessica (Matthew) Jackson-Hester, all of Atlanta, GA; and three adored grandchildren, Maverick Holloman of Effingham, SC, SaDeja Morgan and Jade Hester, both of Atlanta, GA.
He is also survived by his brother, Reginald Jackson of Florence, SC; six sisters, Kathy Jackson of Columbia, SC, Lisa (Kenneth) Wright of Manassas, VA, Tanya Sarmiento of Florence, SC, Karen Jackson of Maiden, NC, Nikki Jackson of Columbia, SC, and Monica (Michael) Lloyd of Effingham, SC. Additionally, he leaves behind his brother-in-law, Birkett (Rudell) Segars of Florence, SC; sister-in-law, Bridgette (Timothy) German of Lamar, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Family and friends are welcome to visit the home on Monday and Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
