Franklin Allred Obituary
Franklin Fletcher Allred, born on July 15, 1982, in Randolph County, passed away peacefully at his residence on November 29, 2025, at the age of 43.
Franklin was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a graduate of Southwestern Randolph High School, class of 2000.
Franklin's true passions were the outdoors and spending time with those he cared for most. He loved the outdoors and was happiest when surrounded by nature. With an adventurous spirit, he embraced life fully-whether he was fishing, hiking, trying new recipes, exploring new restaurants, or simply spending time with his cherished family and friends. Franklin found joy in making nature videos and sharing them with the world, a testament to his creative soul and unique perspective on life that was entirely his own.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy David Allred, Jr.; his brother, David M. Allred; and his grandparents, Clayton and Jenny Wood, Warren and Carol Smith, Eugene and Jean Tate, and Jimmy Allred Sr.
Franklin is survived by his mother, Bertha Smith Allred of Randleman; his sister, Marie Allred Trogdon and her husband Jody; his brothers, Waylon Allred and Magnum Allred; nieces Michala and her husband Noah Cummings, and Aria Allred; nephews Jacob Trogdon, Jonathan Trogdon, Waylon Allred II and his wife Samantha, and Wyatt Allred. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his girlfriend Teresa, whom he cared for deeply.
A memorial service to honor Franklin's life will be announced at a later date, allowing family and friends to gather and celebrate the remarkable man that he was. Franklin will be remembered for his adventurous heart, his creative spirit, and his unwavering love for those around him.
