Franklin Ray Chickerell

Franklin Ray Chickerell, 65, of Fairmont passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. He was born in Fairmont on March 15, 1959, a son of the late Richard Lloyd and Bernice Gay Cottrell Chickerell.Frank enjoyed hunting in his younger years. He enjoyed his neighbors and was always keeping an eye on the neighborhood. He most loved his time with family and friends.He is survived by his son James Chickerell and his wife Samantha of Fairmont; a stepson Barton Hudkins; two brothers Willam Chickerell and his wife Jessica and Richard "Ike" Chickerell Jr. and his wife Laura; two sisters Sandra Cottrill and her husband Andy and Linda Bernier and her husband Louis; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his ex-wife Barbara Goff.In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated. A private service for family and friends will be held at a later date.
